  • How long does it take to ship?
    Due to Covid-19 and related supply chain issues, we will ship only Monday-Wednesday in order to ensure your package arrives as soon as possible. We provide standard shipping on Raw Irish Sea Moss orders and delivery timeframe is based on your location. We currently ship out of Boston for US customers and Lisbon for EU customers. You will be issued a tracking number for your order as soon as its shipped. We currently only offer pick-ups in Boston and Lisbon for Sea Moss Gel orders due to the current supply chain unreliability as the gel can spoil if left out of the fridge for an extended period.
  • Where is our Sea Moss sourced from?
    Our Sea Moss is sourced from the North Atlantic waters off the west coast of Ireland. Our product is Organic Certified, lab-tested for nutritional content and heavy metal analysis, and adheres to sustainable practices.
  • How long does Sea Moss gel last?
    Sea Moss Gel should be refrigerated immediately upon arrival in order to preserve its freshness. The Gel has a 3-4 week shelf life in the fridge, and can last about 6 months in the freezer. You'll know the gel has gone bad once it starts smelling/tasting a bit off when you open it. An easy solution is to freeze any gel you won't use within that 3 week timeframe, or to simply freeze them into Sea Moss Ice cubes for immediate use whenever!
  • How often can I use Sea Moss gel as a face mask?
    We recommend using Sea Moss Gel as a face mask up to two times per week.
  • Can I take Sea Moss gel while on medications?
    If you take thyroid medication, consult with your doctor or dietician before implenting Sea Moss use as its' iodine content may not react well with the medication. Otherwise, there aren't any known risks, but we always recommend speaking with your current health care practitioner who is better equipped to give you more personalized advice based upon your personal situation.
  • Is Sea Moss ok to take if I am allergic to shellfish?
    Sea Moss is safe for most people with food allergies. While we take extreme care to clean our Sea Moss before packaging or making the gel, we cannot guarantee that the gel is 100% free from any traces of shellfish.
  • Can children take Sea Moss?
    Sea Moss is a natural food that has been around for centuries. It is safe and beneficial for all ages.
  • What does Sea Moss Gel taste like?
    Some gels may have a bit of an ocean smell/taste, we add key limes to our gel in order to nullify this unpleasant aspect. With no taste, feel free to add our Sea Moss Gel into your favorite protein shake, soup, or tea!
  • Will Sea Moss break my fast?
    It depends on the type of fast you are doing. Sea Moss can be a great addition to a juice fast as it assists in the detox process. Although, Sea Moss Gel would break your water fast as it contains nutrients your body would have to process.
  • Is Sea Moss vegan friendly?
    Yes, Sea Moss Gel works as a great vegan substitute for gelatin, eggs, or any other product that can be used to thicken (puddings, mousses, curries, soups). Check out our Sea Moss Recipes article for more ideas.
  • Is Sea Moss ok to take if pregnant or breastfeeding?
    Not only is it safe, but we would recommend taking Sea Moss while pregnant as the Iodine, Zinc, Selenium, and Folic Acid have been shown to help libido levels, fertility, and menstrual problems.   • How much Sea Moss gel can I consume daily?
    We suggest you take at least 1 serving of Sea Moss Gel per day (2 tablespoons or 30ml). Many choose to take 2-3 servings per day if they are exerting themselves more, such as athletes or those with a more active lifestyle.
  • What's your refund policy for returns?
    Returns are accepted if the product arrives defected or damaged within 15 days of purchase date for a refund. Returns are handled on a case by case basis, so reach out to us immediately to help solve any issues!
